Mother's Day Weekend in Prosser, Washington

Chad and I spent Mother's Day weekend in Prosser, Washington with my family. We enjoyed our stay as we spent an evening at an "invite only" wine tasting, traditional Mexican tacos for lunch and a Sunday afternoon trip to Hogue, Cowan and Kestral wineries. Prosser didn't turn out to be as "dry" as expected. We had a great weekend with my family and plan on venturing back soon.

Here Chad poses with his in-laws, as they are all smiles at the DavenLore wine tasting of the spring release.

After a couple of hours of wine tasting, Chad was trying to be romantic...Clumsy lovin' was more like it-he poked me in the eye with the rose stem. Chad's a joker and makes me laugh...that's one of the many reasons I love him.

After a couple of hours of wine tasting, the wine maker gave Justin a jug of homemade cider. That put a smile on Justin's face. Here's a pic of Justin with his juice and Chad with his "juice"-a fine port from DavenLore.
Our first stop in the Sunday afternoon touring was at the Hogue winery. We also visited the Cowan winery and Kestral. It was entertaining and a lot of fun.
Justin was a trooper as he came along with us to a few wineries. It was great to see Justin and spend some time with him. He has grown up so much.

My Crazy Group of Kids at School

I'm thankful to have an amazing group of kids to work with at Peter Kirk. Every now and then they get out of control, but overall they are excellent. We had most of our group in the afternoon so we thought it would be a good opportunity for a photo. Not to mention that it was somewhat nice outside. We also had a little fun in the photo below.
