Idaho Camping
The end of July we took a trip to Idaho and camped up the northfork of the Coeur d'Alene River. This is the 2nd year in a row that we have taken this trip and each year more people join in on the fun. Thanks Dad and Debbie for letting us camp down on the river.
Here are a few a lot of my favorite photos thanks to Molly.

Portland
It's been a while since I've posted anything. I've been busy...I guess. I have photos from an Idaho camping trip, a day trip to Portland, a 5K race in Seattle and a visit from Mom and Eric that I would like to share.
I'll start with Portland....
I took a trip to Portland last Friday to meet up with Teagan. She had the day off, Kurt was out of town and I had time available. I don't have a picture of the two of us, but we did spend A LOT of our time walking around downtown Portland and especially on the waterfront. I was fascinated by this bridge that had to raise to let a Portland tour boat go under.
It was great to see Teags, as it had been since last Christmas since the last time we saw her and Kurt. We need to make mid-way meetings more often. I miss Teagan. It was a fun-filled day. Thanks for meeting up Teags. Love you.

July 4th
The 4th of July is special to Chad and I for many reasons. For me, it's about the time we started dating...14 years ago. The 4th also stirs up many great childhood memories from watching the Coeurd'Alene firework show to going with Dad and Rolan to pick out a couple fireworks from a stand that sat in the old Tidyman's parking lot on Best Ave. to running through the colored smoke bombs on our neighborhood street.
Since being together with Chad, we have spent all but two Fourths on the river at the cabin. The 4th of July now equates to an extended stay at the cabin where card games, swimming, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, campfiring-ing and just plain fun takes place.
I love the tradition and look forward to many more 4ths at the cabin.
