Mr. Cool

Aidan is such a ham. He is acting as if he was cool or something. I think these are the sunglasses that I bought for Mackenzie (Aidan's girlfriend), but I can't tell very well from the photo. Aidan still rates pretty high on our "cool" list...even if he is wearing girlie sunglasses.
Thanks for the photo, Molls.

It's All About Delia

It's tough sometimes being so far away from our own niece and nephews. I think that's why Chad and I have taken such a liking to Aidan and Delia. There's currently nothing in the world greater to me right now (than Chad of course) than spending time with our "other neice and nephew". Have I mentioned yet how much I adore and love them? They are absolutely the greatest! Delia especially loves sharing stories ("coo"ing) with "Uncle Chad". I enjoy watching Chad take the time to play with the kids....he is going to make the best dad one day.

Home For The Weekend

We traveled to Spokane for the weekend to visit Chad's parents, his youngest sister and Ruger (the family dog). Chad spent some time with his dad visiting a hydroplane restoration project with Roger, eating a Hudson hamburger with cousin Brad, getting a CDA Press tour with Uncle Don and shopping for ATVs. While the boys were out and about, the girls spent time together shopping for and talking about Teagan's (Chad's youngest sister) wedding happening this September. In the evening the family all went out to dinner at a nice restaurant to "celebrate" Teagan's engagement. From the smiles in the picture, it's obvious how excited we were to be at home for the weekend.

Earth Day Clean-Up

The morning after our troop slumber party we got up and helped clean up Cotton Hill Park in Kirkland for Earth Day. The girls worked very hard for a couple of hours raking, piling, and removing black berry vines from a wetland area. Julie and I were so proud of how hard they worked and worked well together. It was a fun couple of days with the girls. I think I'm still trying to catch up on my sleep.
